Julia Dale was born in Russia, studied arts and movie directing and later worked in two large TV series and feature film production companies in Moscow. In her mid-twenties she realized that her true calling was fashion, and moved to New York to implement both her dreams: becoming a fashion designer and running a business.
Julia set out to create a truly exquisite line of handbags that would be feminine yet edgy. Her designs reveal the unique nature of each exotic leather in the most innovative way. Each item is handcrafted with attention to extreme detailing and choice of additional materials to reach the desired level of quality. Julia is passionate about advancing humanitarian causes, and she is continuously striving to find ways to contribute to society and be a socially responsible citizen. She understands the responsibility that comes from working with exotic leather. All skins she uses come from farm-raised animals or are a by-product of food industry. With her brand launched just in 2010 Julia Dale has already supported multiple charities. She recently became a member of Network 355, a New York City based network of socially responsible women entrepreneurs who volunteer their expertise to raise public awareness about humanitarian and cultural causes.
